"I met Esther in Calgary in 1979. Her daughter Lisa and our eldest daughter, Alice, have the same birthdays, and befriended each other a few years later. I remember Esther as a kind, gentle and funny person and even though it has been several years since I last saw her, Lisa and Allan, I shall miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with Esther's family and I hope to be able to attend the celebration of her life in July."
